Today, she has been a good day. Number the first, I went to the dentist, who informed me that all my fillings are intact and my teeth look healthy! I haven’t heard that since 2000. It was a nice surprise. And although I’d like to save money and hold out on dental-type things, I now can get that dental guard that helps me not crack my fillings, since I don’t actually have to get them this time.
Then lunch came, and I created another knitter with the help of the lovely Nell. Julie will be great! She chose some soft blue-green yarn that will make a beautiful first scarf.
And then, Belly still had some fresh everything bagels, which are like heaven (if heaven were a bagel), with roasted garlic baked into the dough. I devoured one for lunch, and have half a great cup of coffee left, plus a giant jelly bean (only I just ate it, while writing this; it was delicious).
Upon arrival back at the office, I discovered that the pound of undyed roving I ordered from etsy had arrived (hooray!), and now it’s a pretty quiet afternoon, and I think we’re going comics-shopping this evening. Tomorrow I plan on sleeping in quite late. It will be excellent.
Happy Friday!
[My gift to you is the knowledge that a new Watchmen trailer has been released. Hoo, boy. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it.]
For Star Trek, only the bootleg copy is available, but it’s decent quality. I read that it’ll be officially released sometime later today. I think I may be forced to watch it everyday until it comes out.
Dang, man. I forgot about those (how could I forget Star Trek?!).
I think I need a moment.
Lest you forget, there is also the new Harry Potter 6 trailer and Star Trek trailer. All three combined make me want to pee my pants.
