If I were a man

I’d want to be just like Vincent Price.

I swear I’m not dead (the above statement is a complete nonsequitur, by the way); I’m just very, very busy.

Work  has been kicking my ass, and DragonCon is in two days (geez – only two? wow, that was fast), so I have had exactly zero time to devote to blogging. In fact, I pretty much just go to work, come home and get odds and ends done around the house, eat dinner, bathe, then read a little before I go to sleep.

However, all this aside, I have managed to finish the pink socks and also to purchase a washer and dryer from an ex-pro wrestler. How cool is that? I have the socks on right now, and the husband was giddy over the wrestler bit (he is a huge fan of pro wrestling). I am bringing my hard drive home this evening, so that I may post things from it to flickr and then blog about them, in photo form. I really have some exciting things to show off (like the fact that we finally gave Claudia her surprise hug shawl).

T minus two days to DragonCon. I’m super nervous.

About HappyGoth

By day, I'm a graphic designer. By night, I'm a knitter. I'm doing my part to keep Hotlanta stylish. I imagine that if you don't already understand the title of the blog, you're probably confused and perhaps slightly annoyed, but never fear - I do have a reason (and it's a good one). Having gone to hear Stephanie Pearl McPhee, and then having been inspired to blog about knitting, I found myself wondering what to call the blog. I recalled a conversation I had with Mouse and the Chicken Goddess about why it is a Bad Idea to anger knitters - this conversation was following SPM, aka the Yarn Harlot telling the assembled throng about Those Who Do Not Understand Knitting and Therefore Belittle It Much to the Chagrin of Others, or TWDNUKTBMCO, which is not the acronym she used but is the one I'm using because I forgot hers - that is, we are numerous and we all have very pointy sticks, easily transforming into an angry mob. Therefore, knitters = angry mob.

I don’t know – I’ll have him email Xylo (there was some sort of explanation, but it involved him telling me in a way that suggested that I ought to know exactly who he was talking about, which I didn’t, so I’ve forgotten the particulars already).

    Which wrestler?
