The crazy never ends.

I think that my mom’s theory about it raining when important things are happening has some truth.

Today, it’s raining (it rained a bit yesterday, too). On top of that, I’m moving on Saturday (or beginning to, at least), I’ve been given another huge project here at work, Breaking Dawn comes out in a little over 24 hours, and somebody stole a length of copper cable from a main phone line, so half the building went home, being without phones or internet. Sadly, not our half. In reality, that would have sucked, because we’re on a tight schedule, but it also might have been nice to pack some boxes all afternoon. This move is making me nervous.

I did find time to work on my sock, though. I’m thinking that I’m going to add some extra cables to the top of the foot (they’re teeny; I won’t even feel them), to pep it up a bit. And I saw BraveHarlot, Jennie, and Friend of BraveHarlot (who, excitingly enough, is moving to Atlanta soon, so, yay!), which was much-needed estrogen time. Yay estrogen. We all sat outside and knit before we realized that it was too hot to do so, but by then it was our bedtime, so we all went home.

I think I would like it if BraveHarlot suddenly needed to move to Atlanta.

About HappyGoth

By day, I'm a graphic designer. By night, I'm a knitter. I'm doing my part to keep Hotlanta stylish. I imagine that if you don't already understand the title of the blog, you're probably confused and perhaps slightly annoyed, but never fear - I do have a reason (and it's a good one). Having gone to hear Stephanie Pearl McPhee, and then having been inspired to blog about knitting, I found myself wondering what to call the blog. I recalled a conversation I had with Mouse and the Chicken Goddess about why it is a Bad Idea to anger knitters - this conversation was following SPM, aka the Yarn Harlot telling the assembled throng about Those Who Do Not Understand Knitting and Therefore Belittle It Much to the Chagrin of Others, or TWDNUKTBMCO, which is not the acronym she used but is the one I'm using because I forgot hers - that is, we are numerous and we all have very pointy sticks, easily transforming into an angry mob. Therefore, knitters = angry mob.

I also think that rain predicts the weather. I was nearly run over when it was raining, but I think that was ‘coz the driver couldn’t see me. Lol.
