Nothing new to report.

Well, that’s not completely true, but I’ve been exceptionally busy at work today, and in my offtime I’ve become rather involved with writing on my novel, an activity that has eclipsed any and all other activities. I’m making progress, though, so I feel accomplished even though I haven’t gotten anything else done. That Super Secret project? Yeah. So totally not going to be finished by the end of June.

I’ve started to read Twilight to my husband at night, a chapter before we go to bed. So far, his assessment is that it’s very much a chick book, though he did snicker at some of the descriptions. I kind of have to agree with his assessment, although since I am a chick, this is not as much of a problem for me as it is for him.

We’ll see how he feels when Midnight Sun comes out and I force him to listen to it. Perhaps a different perspective will change his mind. Or perhaps not. I’m still forcing him to listen to me read it.

About HappyGoth

By day, I'm a graphic designer. By night, I'm a knitter. I'm doing my part to keep Hotlanta stylish. I imagine that if you don't already understand the title of the blog, you're probably confused and perhaps slightly annoyed, but never fear - I do have a reason (and it's a good one). Having gone to hear Stephanie Pearl McPhee, and then having been inspired to blog about knitting, I found myself wondering what to call the blog. I recalled a conversation I had with Mouse and the Chicken Goddess about why it is a Bad Idea to anger knitters - this conversation was following SPM, aka the Yarn Harlot telling the assembled throng about Those Who Do Not Understand Knitting and Therefore Belittle It Much to the Chagrin of Others, or TWDNUKTBMCO, which is not the acronym she used but is the one I'm using because I forgot hers - that is, we are numerous and we all have very pointy sticks, easily transforming into an angry mob. Therefore, knitters = angry mob.
