Which, in light of my recent addiction to Torchwood, makes me sad.
I am, however, solidly Anglo Saxon, Scottish, northern French, Swiss, and Prussian. I’m sad about the Welsh. It was a nice heritage to claim (my dad said that the Crittenton family, on his mother’s side, was from Wales, but upon further research I’ve discovered that they are in fact from Kent and Sussex)
In less disconsolate news, I’ve updated some of Ravelry, but still no pictures because the camera cable remains AWOL. I wore my Jaywalker socks and they are awesome. Soon I will have finished the Waving Lace socks and they will also be awesome. It’s a whole lot of awesome! Yay for knitting.

About HappyGoth
By day, I'm a graphic designer. By night, I'm a knitter. I'm doing my part to keep Hotlanta stylish.
I imagine that if you don't already understand the title of the blog, you're probably confused and perhaps slightly annoyed, but never fear - I do have a reason (and it's a good one). Having gone to hear Stephanie Pearl McPhee, and then having been inspired to blog about knitting, I found myself wondering what to call the blog. I recalled a conversation I had with Mouse and the Chicken Goddess about why it is a Bad Idea to anger knitters - this conversation was following SPM, aka the Yarn Harlot telling the assembled throng about Those Who Do Not Understand Knitting and Therefore Belittle It Much to the Chagrin of Others, or TWDNUKTBMCO, which is not the acronym she used but is the one I'm using because I forgot hers - that is, we are numerous and we all have very pointy sticks, easily transforming into an angry mob.
Therefore, knitters = angry mob.
ESC, it’s totally (totally) Welsh. They’re the Welsh branch of Torchwood, so they’re in Cardiff, and everybody has an accent. It’s great.
I’m also completely addicted to Torchwood.. its a great show. I’ve just learned that I can’t drink anything during the show or someone’s sarcastic comment will end up with me snorting my drink.
I am welsh! My parents have a picture of a great great grandfather from Wales who is so dark he looks like Juan Valdez – right down to the mustache and even standing next to a small horse.
I don’t watch torchwood, though. Lots of Welsh action going on there?
