Nothing much

I have nothing much to say today except that

1. The bear I’m knitting has only one arm, and the arm he has is very deformed-looking. I believe I have overstuffed him. I’m extremely tempted to leave him that way and give him to my friend who is going to have a baby. Anyway. In spite of the one-armedness. This will teach the child to respect differences and those with disabilities.

2. I ate two cupcakes today, one for breakfast and one after lunch. They were both delicious, and exceedingly healthy. And I wonder why I’ve been gaining weight so quickly the past couple of years…

3. Jennie and I watched Moonlight last night, which is a horrible show but a lot of fun. I watched an episode by myself, but found it much more enjoyable when watched with someone else, as it is not so fun to be snarky at the television alone with the cat. The cat, he does not understand the English so good.

And that is all, except that we will be watching Moonlight this evening and I will possibly get some work done and maybe cast on another Easy Feather and Fan Scarf, unless I find a better pattern in the meantime.

About HappyGoth

By day, I'm a graphic designer. By night, I'm a knitter. I'm doing my part to keep Hotlanta stylish. I imagine that if you don't already understand the title of the blog, you're probably confused and perhaps slightly annoyed, but never fear - I do have a reason (and it's a good one). Having gone to hear Stephanie Pearl McPhee, and then having been inspired to blog about knitting, I found myself wondering what to call the blog. I recalled a conversation I had with Mouse and the Chicken Goddess about why it is a Bad Idea to anger knitters - this conversation was following SPM, aka the Yarn Harlot telling the assembled throng about Those Who Do Not Understand Knitting and Therefore Belittle It Much to the Chagrin of Others, or TWDNUKTBMCO, which is not the acronym she used but is the one I'm using because I forgot hers - that is, we are numerous and we all have very pointy sticks, easily transforming into an angry mob. Therefore, knitters = angry mob.
